Raw Juice Link Up pt. 6 » Admin by RAW JUICE
Tell us about yourself, who are you, where are you from?
Hello, I’m Adam Wickens or Admin. Im 19 and from Winchester but will be in Bristol shortly. I can’t actually wait!
How long have you been producing & DJing?
I’ve been djing for the past 5 years now, nearly 6. I’ve only been producing for around 2, but it seems to be kicking off nicely I must say.
What is your favorite piece of studio equipment?
I recently invested in a small midi-keyboard which im growing to love. Makes producing that little bit easier and more interesting, and a good way to just have a jam when you feel like it.
What is your musical influences and where do you get your inspiration from?
I guess whatever Im listening to and how I feel at the time and all that etc. Summer has got me on a house vibe that’s for sure (you will hear in the mix), but I can imagine the cold winter will draw me back into garage.
Do you have any forthcoming projects / releases ?
My Next release is actually my debut solo EP forthcoming On Infinite Machine. Been pretty lucky as the remixes from Neat and Mirror State are both amazing, cant wait to push this one. Also got a few forthcoming remixes I’ve done for artists such as Okota and B-flat which I really enjoyed. Then later this year something special in the works for B.Yrslf Division, keep your eyes peeled!

Okota - City Fox (Admin Remix) (Forthcoming Wicked Bass) by ∆dmin
What other producers do you rate at the moment?
Lo:Tek, iO, Gang Colours, Throwing Snow, J. Phlip, Ardalan, Julio Bashmore, there are too many good producers at the moment, so apologies to all the ones I missed but you know I love you.
What is your five top tunes at the moment?
Im Listening to these today: 1. J.Dilla - Won’t Do 2. Claude VonStroke - Storm Over Lake St. Claire 3. Om Unit Vs Kromestar - Solar Cycle 4. Hiatus - Insurrection 5. Lunice - Out of Touch
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I reckon i’ll still be In Bristol, hopefully still producing, still djing and all that. Who Knows?
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
I Like the colour Purple, Alot.

Femme En Fourrure - Bronco

The ‘Bronco’ EP by Femme En Fourrure is dropping on friday the 18th on Top Billin’. The whole ep is deep and moody, and in addition to three remixes of the title track by likes of Nguzunguzu, Teeth, and Square Mode it features another track from Femme En Fourrure. The remix by Nguzunguzu is the one for me, dark vibes, and the remix by Teeth too.  Check out the awesome video to ‘Bronco’ above!
