Oneman has prepared a new mix for the month of love, and it is very sweet. It features slow jams, R&B, soul, dubstep and garage. Play the mix in the widget below:
Yay the first FACT mix of the year is here. And it is from no other than Deadboy. Featuring Theo Parrish, Scott Garcia, Julio Bashmore, Martyn and plenty of Deadboy’s own material, it’s a mix that perfectly reflects the blurred crossroads between house, garage, R’n'B and dubstep that the likes of Mosca, Bok Bok, Joy Orbison and more are currently inhibiting, with a sense of longing that runs through the mix – whether that’s for lovers past or the halcyon days of 2step. Bassline house star Burgaboy has rarely sounded as sad as he does on this mix.
Just found this amazing mix featuring 250+ beats from 1999 to 2009. The artwork is great too – track listings hand-written on cassette covers.

Just recieved a hot tip from Emmtee. Riva Starr just released his latest mixset on his website and he says that: ” I did this new mixset a couple of weeks ago, it’s stuffed with mashups, remixes and a few bits from my new album and it’s now ready to be downloaded on my booking agency’s soundcloud. Follow them as they’ve got some amazing mixsets from the likes of Derrick Carter, Josh Wink, John Acquaviva, Mark Farina, Luke Solomon and plenty more!”. You know what to do folks!
Boys Noize has just released his long awaited album “Power” and in addition to this his Essential mix for BBC 1 was released this weekend. In this Essential mix Boys Noize aka Alex Ridha takes the listeners for a two hour long ride filled with supercharged House & Techno.
Starkey has just done a mix for FACT magazine. And I could not agree more with the words FACT magazine uses to describe Starkey:
More influenced by grime than its more popular cousin, dubstep, Starkey’s made a name for himself with some of this decade’s most dynamic, overblown dance music: bass-heavy club tracks that are rhythmically all over the place, constantly changing direction, with dramatic key changes and leadlines that sear higher than the stars before imploding like dying stars.
Starkey has one of the biggest sounds around – and not in a cheap, tearout dubstep sense – his tracks carry tons of physical and emotional weight; tracks like ‘Miracles’ and ‘Crippling’ some of the most beautiful tracks produced by this anything goes, post-garage music.
