Our good friends over at the bassmusicblog posted this exclusive today!
And we quote:
“Well, to celebrate the lovely vinyl release of Build 002 – ‘Ride It’ by me, with a ridiculous Untold remix (both sides getting love from people like 2562, Mary Anne Hobbs, Sinden, Crookers, Bok Bok and everyone else)… We’ve decided to give yous lot a chance to get hold of the FULL QUALITY remix parts for Build 001 – Baobinga & I.D. ‘Tongue Riddim’…
Damn!!! These are the exact same parts we sent to the mighty Roska and that he used to mash up his very own sexy-time remix – full quality parts, and you don’t have to give us your email, or send us a picture of you holding a copy of Build 001, or any of that madness – just take them, have fun with them, and send us what you come up with!
What’s more, if you make with a banger, we’ll put it on the blog and do a quick interview with you. If it’s a NEXT banger, we might even get it mastered properly and release it digitally through Build – but the main thing is, just get involved!”

Leeds-resident GRUM (who you could see during this years Øya Festival) is out with the official video for his latest single “Heartbeats”. We’ve been watching this guy for a while after making a classic remix of Armand Van Helden’s – “You don’t know me” and having a great remix made to him by Le Castle Vania, for his track “Go Back” , among a whole lot of other great stuff! It seems like he’s going for a more chill/Nu-disco/indie dance kind of vibe nowadays, at least with “Heartbeats”. However it still all sounds good! Here’s the video, directed by GoodBoy and the single is released on the Heartbeats Label. You can buy the single and the remixes here at Beatport
BONUS: Also throwing in a new remix by GRUM for Passion Pit’s – “To Kingdom Come”
Be sure to check out GRUM’s Myspace for more news and tour-dates about/for GRUM
DZ badman released his «Coast II Coast» EP exclusively on beatport 12th august.
The EP is filled with diverse sounds. The first track «Coast II Coast» gives you synth hysteria, the second track «Soul Food» is a vocal driven floor smasher, and the last one «K-Hole» is just pure bassline madness. DZ’s forthcoming LP «The Proliferation Sequence» is probably going to be HUGE given the big sounds in this EP.
DZ have also had quite a few good remixes out lately. In may, he dropped a remix of Boltan’s track «Nine to five» on Party Like Us Records:
