Now something for all the Simian Mobile Disco fans out there! Simian Mobile Disco / SMD had the honour of doing the decades’ first Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1. The mix has been described as “Deep, dirty and devastating” by some and Jas & James in SMD flexes their techno muscles, as well as some dubstep and electro muscles on this week’s Essential Mix! Also be on the look out for some new tracks from Simian in this mix. Enjoooy!

StereoHeroes just sent us a mixtape they have made to celebrate their two year anniversary and it contains not less than 6 exclusive unreleased StereoHeroes tracks! They say that: ” To celebrate our two years of existence we built this mixtape for the people who came to our shows the last few months and were asking for a live recording of our sets, we hope they will find the same energy and diversity in it.” Be sure to check this mix out!! Boys Noize has just released his long awaited album “Power” and in addition to this his Essential mix for BBC 1 was released this weekend. In this Essential mix Boys Noize aka Alex Ridha takes the listeners for a two hour long ride filled with supercharged House & Techno.

Leeds-resident GRUM (who you could see during this years Øya Festival) is out with the official video for his latest single “Heartbeats”. We’ve been watching this guy for a while after making a classic remix of Armand Van Helden’s – “You don’t know me” and having a great remix made to him by Le Castle Vania, for his track “Go Back” , among a whole lot of other great stuff! It seems like he’s going for a more chill/Nu-disco/indie dance kind of vibe nowadays, at least with “Heartbeats”. However it still all sounds good! Here’s the video, directed by GoodBoy and the single is released on the Heartbeats Label. You can buy the single and the remixes here at Beatport

Boys Noize has just released the official video for “Jeffer”, directed by Pomp&Clout. The track which was released a while ago, has during the summer recieved praise from people like Crookers, Dj Mehdi, Laidback Luke, Cassius, JD Twitch, Damien Harris and a whole lot of other big names.  It will also appear on the next Boys Noize album, called “Power”, that has October as releasedate. The release of the album will also be accompanied by a Boys Noize “Power”-worldtour, but for the meanwhile; Enjoy the vid.

Our FINAL (Top 5 in last years world DMC-championship) got a brand new electro remix out! Edvard joined FINAL in making a great remix for one of this summers biggest club tunes; Pon De Floor by Major Lazer. Check it out and leave feedback here and on their myspace pages! Enjoy!
