Just discovered this amazing video to an EP I have been feeling a lot lately. It is the latest EP from Douster entitled Triassic. In this EP – released on ZZK records – Douster goes back to prehistoric times, imagines the soundtrack of a life during the Triassic era. Raw rhythms, primitive melodies and cavemen chants that sound from a world when the land masses were connected, shedding borders and grooving primitively to his strain of electronic music
First off we want to pay our respect regarding DJ AM’s untimely death. Our prayers goes out to those who were close to him, knew him and those that loved his music!! May you Rest In Peace Adam!
The Argentinean Mugre -site has just released the video to their Zzk Records-artist Douster, for his track “King of Africa”. Douster is a 23 year old producer from Lyon, France who has called Buenos Aires home for the better part of the last 2 years. At the age of 14 Douster started making beats and hasn’t stopped since. Buenos Aires and Zizek Club proved to be a highly fertile ground for Douster´s search for his own sound. Combining his background in Electro, House, Bass, Dancehall, Hip Hop with his current time and place in the world has produced something completely new, fresh and highly ZZK. A sound that is a blend of different styles and could be roughly described as “Lazer Bass Cumbia Reggaetón”.
