We´re starting off the weekend early and we got some friends over to celebrate it with us ( tonight and tomorrow/on friday)! Tonight we´re playing with non other than South Rakkas Crew, Serocee and Lambsbread Soundsystem! The place is SUPA Club in Trondheim City, Norway! The bashment starts at 22:00 and it´s going to be a wild one!!

The production crew South Rakkas Crew are finally out with their long awaited album and they have everyone from Pitchfork.com to The Washington Post singing their praises. The album is called “The Stimulus package” and features vocals from Capleton, Killa Queenz, Deerhoof among others. The progressive and respected production duo incorporates as usual: dancehall, reggae, hip hop, classic samples, drum n’ bass and even pop and rock in this great release. As a new years gift to all their fans they’re giving away the album for FREEE!!! How about that?!

Just discovered this amazing video to an EP I have been feeling a lot lately. It is the latest EP from Douster entitled Triassic. In this EP – released on ZZK records – Douster goes back to prehistoric times, imagines the soundtrack of a life during the Triassic era. Raw rhythms, primitive melodies and cavemen chants that sound from a world when the land masses were connected, shedding borders and grooving primitively to his strain of electronic music

Two of the world’s best DJs team up for a special Essential Mix showcasing their new dancehall & reggae inspired project Major Lazer. Major lazer is according to Diplo and Switch:

“ – a Jamaican commando who lost his arm in the secret Zombie War of 1984. The US military rescued him and repurposed experimental lazers as prosthetic limbs. Since then Major Lazer has been a hired renegade soldier for a rogue government operating in secrecy underneath the watch of M5 and the CIA.
