Tell us about yourself; who are you, where are you from, what do you do?

Albert Redwine, thee Ultrademon. I produce under a moniker “fire for effect” and run a small label called “Coral Records Internazionale”. Currently living in Chicago.

How long have you been producing & DJing?

I got my first turntable’s when I was 15, shortly after that I got some software too.

What is your favorite piece of studio equipment?

Nord Lead 3, I’ve had it for ages, can compose entire techno tracks with just that live. Recently I’ve really been wanting to get an SP-303 again tho, really like those little samplers, sold my last one to this punk friend of mine and kind of regret that. Oh yeah and I love my VT-1, boss voice shifter.

What is your musical influences and where do you get your inspiration from?

I go through phases of influence musically, juke, jungle, house, techno, but the inspiration always comes from the same feelings. Oh yeah and Rephlex Records… heh.

Do you have any forthcoming projects / releases ? 

Releasing a 7-inch through Tuff Wax out of aberdeen scotland, doing a digital release with Soukouch Ethnik, and I’ve got heaps of remixes in the que.

What is your five top tunes at the moment? 

Well most of my current favorite tunes and producers are in the mix I’m including but these are 5 that don’t really fit with that mix. Eliphino - More Than Me

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Touring Europe and Japan. Producing for Soulja Boy. Maybe defecting to another country.
