So many free tunes being given away for free lately, it’s almost ridicolous! Get on the download and put on your raving shoes, it’s friday after all!
First out is Tactile – Rollercoaster:
Originally meant to be released on Freak Recordings some years ago. Since that never happened they are giving it away! Download HERE
dBridge – Lost Shadow
As stated by the man himself: “This was originally going to come out on Shogun as the B-Side to Inner Disbelief. I decided against the 12″ as I felt I kept giving away my best tunes, much to Frictions annoyance; understandably (we’ve made up now though). I still owe him a release; which is now in writing” Download HERE
Over to some big and nasty dubstep! The Hench headquarters are very kindly giving away Who’s the hardest by Eddie K:
Delphic has a slew of quality remixes lined up for their release ‘Halcyon’, showcasing a selection of the UK underground’s brightest producers. Featuring the man like Julio Bashmore, L-Vis 1990 and Deadboy. The remix from Deadboy was put up for download thru rcrdlbl. The other two remixes courtesy of Chew The Fat!. Today the free album by Baobinga & I.D called ‘Bass Music Sessions’ is released on label.bassmusicblog.com for FREE. The tracks range from the chunky house of ‘BackFoot’, played out by the likes of Claude Von Stroke and Julio Bashmore, through the post-dubstep sway of ‘Hither & Thither’, which has been picked up by Untold and Ben UFO, the dirty-South inspired dubstep of ‘Still Tippin’, – on rotation with Mensah and Hyetal, kuduro influenced ‘Man Down’ (play from TRG, Buraka Som Sistema etc) and the massive DnB smasher ‘The King’, which has been played out by DJ Friction, DJ Die and more. So you can be sure it’s good!
The album will be released on a ‘pay what you want’ basis, although gaining cash isn’t really the aim, so any money it does accrue will be donated to Dove House Hospice in Hull, UK.

Bristol head Orphan101 made a great mix for this weeks “BassMusic Mix”- series on BassmusicBlog. Rob Davies aka Orphan101 mainly produce what he likes to call “Dupstep based minimal techno”. His upcoming release is being released on a new label, a Boka Records off-shoot called Saigon Recordings. The New York based label Fool’s Gold teams up with FABRIC and are hosting a club-night in the legendary London-club next friday ( 5th of february), featuring a great line-up! To celebrate this and the release of his own single “Mind Reader” ( out on Fool’s Gold 2th feb), Kingdom put together this promo mix showcasing everything we’ve come to expect from his live sets: the warmest selections of UK funky, clacking syncopated bass and his own mind-melting, well put together beats.
Our good friends over at the bassmusicblog posted this exclusive today!
And we quote:
“Well, to celebrate the lovely vinyl release of Build 002 – ‘Ride It’ by me, with a ridiculous Untold remix (both sides getting love from people like 2562, Mary Anne Hobbs, Sinden, Crookers, Bok Bok and everyone else)… We’ve decided to give yous lot a chance to get hold of the FULL QUALITY remix parts for Build 001 – Baobinga & I.D. ‘Tongue Riddim’…
Damn!!! These are the exact same parts we sent to the mighty Roska and that he used to mash up his very own sexy-time remix – full quality parts, and you don’t have to give us your email, or send us a picture of you holding a copy of Build 001, or any of that madness – just take them, have fun with them, and send us what you come up with!
What’s more, if you make with a banger, we’ll put it on the blog and do a quick interview with you. If it’s a NEXT banger, we might even get it mastered properly and release it digitally through Build – but the main thing is, just get involved!”
