Tell us about yourself; who are you, where are you from, what do you do?
My name is Charly Prioux aka Dehousy. I currently live in Rennes, France. I study law during the day and I produce music during the night.
How long have you been producing & DJing?
“Dehousy” was created one year ago and it was also the real beginning for producing and DJing for me.
What is your favorite piece of studio equipment?
My mac and Ableton for sure, but also my acoustic piano just for the pleasure of it.
What are your musical influences and where do you get your inspiration from?
I listen to a lot of different things. I would say that it’s mainly rap, jersey, baltimore and bass music in general that influences me. I’m taking inspiration from everything I listen to and I don’t really have any kind of “limitations” regarding genres.
Do you have any forthcoming projects / releases ?
I’m currently working on my second EP! I’ll also release a bootleg remix of Kendrick Lamar and a remix for Fobator, that will be released on Conquistadores. Me and Paris Love Story are also working on an EP and a mini-tour!
What other producers do you feel at the moment?
At the moment I’m really a fan of Tommy Jacob´s work! He´s really starting to show us some crazy tracks. And of course always the whole Pelican Fly crew (particularly Cashmere Cat) and the duo Budju from Chateau Bruyant Records.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Tell us about yourself; who are you, where are you from, what do you do?
I’m Plot Twist, I live in minneapolis MN. I make music, do graphic design, and fix things.
How long have you been producing & DJing?
Producing 15 years. Djing 3.
What is your favorite piece of studio equipment?
Every track I make has battery 3 in it. I play around with a lot of different softsynths, but the Korg Legacy bundle is the shit!
What are your musical influences and where do you get your inspiration from?
My dad brought home “Newcleus - Space is the Place” on tape when I was 6. My mom had a record of Balinese Germinal music - basically a gong orchestra - that I discovered a little later. We’d listen to an afropop weekly radio show on NPR. There was Herbie Hancock’s head hunters, early 90s hip hop/r&b radio, lots and lots of drum & bass records, tribe called quest tapes, IDM, and all that. So kinda everything built for me to this current climate of global anything goes rhythm driven, sonically inventive music.
Do you have any forthcoming projects / releases ?
I just released my first EP on Kingthing’s new Silhouettes. It’s called Ny Qwil. I threw an EP of rap bootlegs up on http://plottwist.bandcamp.com in the last month too. Up next, a bunch of bootlegs of my favorite drum & bass (you can hear a few on the mix), a colab with Mohegan Son, and an EP for Fortified Audio.
What other producers do you feel at the moment?
Pretty proud of some of the dudes I know from MPLS of course - Enron Hubbard, Connie Hawkins, Tennis Rodman, Neuport, 666 sound club, Westin. I’m a huge fan of Resketch, Hybu (both did remixes for my EP), Distal, Kingthing, Machinedrum, the whole B. Yrslf camp, Lunice, Hud Mo. And I always come back to Gosub.

I have some dorky pleasures (video games, sci fi, internet) but the only one I ever actually feel guilty for is all this damn junk food I eat lol. Gotta do something about that…

We are Academy Awards Music Group AAMG consisting of the CEO DJ AK-4 Luv, DJ SIIKEE, DJ Hoodcore, DJ Eskilate, DJ Tee Whizz, DJ Skeletone, DJ REEK RAWS, and DJ Kid Gruesome. We make movies !

The AAMG crew started up in january but the crew has been producing for some years
